The design is a single solid base (no interlocking parts), therefore material thickness does not affect file compatibility.
For best results:
• For 12-inch bases – use at least 3 mm (0.1 inch) plywood
• For larger diameters – thicker plywood is recommended to prevent bending or warping
If applying paint or varnish, please note that moisture may cause temporary bending. After the base is completely dry, place it under a flat, heavy object to help maintain its shape.
