This item is absolutely handmade, made with the chain weaving technique. It's a method of weaving used in jewelry and other art forms. The weave makes a dense chain with a ring pattern when used for making chains. The type of weave is a "rope" type weave based on a stacked ring orientation. The rings become stacked in the construction and form pairs, resulting in a different grain and a thicker, tighter weave. Most weave techniques have both left and right-handed versions.
